Honestly, I haven't touched my Nano since that Recover drama dropped, but I’m seeing mixed takes on whether they’ve actually fixed the trust issues. Is the community cool with using them again, or should I just jump ship to a competitor? Don't wanna risk my bags over a hardware wallet mistake.

I've been using Ledger for a while now and I've not had any major issues, their customer support is pretty good too, but I do agree that the whole hardware key vulnerability thing raised some serious red flags. I'd say if you're looking for an alternative, Trezor is a decent option, but Ledger has improved their security measures since the incident.

yeah I'd say Ledger has definitely bounced back in terms of security, they've made some pretty significant changes to their key management and firmware, but at the same time I still don't trust them as much as I trust a hardware wallet from a smaller, non-corporate entity

Honestly, Ledger's got a lot to prove after the whole private key snafu, but from what I've seen, they've been making some good moves to regain trust - like implementing multi-party computation for seed recovery and getting audited by a top 3 cybersecurity firm. Still, I'm not gonna put all my eggs in one basket just yet.

I'll echo what others have said - Ledger's got a tough road ahead in terms of regaining trust after the whole key fiasco. That being said, their recent security audits and updates give me a bit more confidence, but it's hard to shake off past mistakes.

I've been using Ledger for years and I can confidently say they've taken major steps to improve their security protocols, especially after the recent key incident. They seem to be open to learning from their mistakes and addressing user concerns, which is a big step in the right direction. Overall, I still trust Ledger, but as with any wallet, you gotta do your own research and stay vigilant.
