Real talk: Is Ledger actually safe again after the whole key fiasco?

Honestly, I haven't touched my Nano since that Recover drama dropped, but I’m seeing mixed takes on whether they’ve actually fixed the trust issues. Is the community cool with using them again, or should I just jump ship to a competitor? Don't wanna risk my bags over a hardware wallet mistake.

I've been using Ledger for a while now and I've not had any major issues, their customer support is pretty good too, but I do agree that the whole hardware key vulnerability thing raised some serious red flags. I'd say if you're looking for an alternative, Trezor is a decent option, but Ledger has improved their security measures since the incident.

yeah I'd say Ledger has definitely bounced back in terms of security, they've made some pretty significant changes to their key management and firmware, but at the same time I still don't trust them as much as I trust a hardware wallet from a smaller, non-corporate entity
