I'm a native English speaker and I've had a few dodgy experiences with what I'm pretty sure were scams on Telegram groups run by people who weren't fluent in my language - the promises are just too good to be true and the language barrier makes it hard to suss out the red flags. Has anyone else had similar experiences?"

Yeah, I got hit by a fake investment scheme a while back because I wasn't familiar with the Russian language. Luckily, I didn't send any funds, but it was a close call. Always trust your gut and verify the source, regardless of language.
"Yup, I've had my fair share of close calls with crypto scams in China. A bunch of phishing apps and websites are super prevalent there and a lot of people get scammed just because they can't read or write English fluently. Wish Binance and other exchanges would offer more Chinese language support."

"Yea, I've had a few close calls with scammers who claimed to be from a legit exchange, but the bad grammar and weird phrasing raised a red flag. Thankfully, I double-checked and got out before it was too late. Always trust your gut and research, folks!"

I've had a few close calls with scammers when I was still getting into crypto. One of them spoke decent English, but I think if I'd been less tech-savvy, I might've fallen for it. Be cautious, guys - language barrier or not, these scammers are sly.

"Totally, bro. I've seen a few instances where non-native speakers get scammed out of their crypto due to fake job offers or investment opportunities that sound legit at first. Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

"Yooo, sadly I've been there multiple times. I've had exchanges and 'influencers' reach out to me in Spanish, but with a dodgy accent and bad grammar. Always a good idea to fact-check and not rely on Google Translate"

Yeah, I've had that happen a few times. I got caught up in a Telegram group where everyone was spamming about some "guaranteed" 5x returns on a new altcoin, but I think the language barrier just clouded my judgment and made me overlook the obvious red flags. Luckily, I didn't lose too much.
