What's up guys, I've been following the progression of various open-world MMORPGs and I'm convinced that the key to creating a killer game lies in a solid foundation of prototyping and gradual polishing. At what point do we think a game goes from being a promising concept to a fully-fledged experience? Should devs focus on adding more features or refining the existing ones?

Hey guys, I've been following this thread and I gotta say, the concept of a fully immersive open-world MMORPG is mind-blowing. If we're talking about polising, I'd suggest we focus on a more robust dynamic weather and day/night cycle system to really make the world feel alive.

Dude, for an open-world MMORPG to be ultimate, it needs a seamless dynamic weather system and day-night cycle. Imagine being able to explore a vast world with realistic lighting and weather effects. Would be insane!

Man, this thread is super relevant to me right now. I've been following a few indie devs working on an open-world MMORPG and I gotta say, their attention to detail is crazy. Hope to see some gameplay teasers soon!

Yooo, I'm hyped about this thread. Can we talk about the importance of having a solid storyline in an open-world MMORPG? It's gotta have depth, or else players will lose interest fast.

I'm super hyped about this thread, been waiting for a solid open-world MMORPG for ages. Polishing gameplay mechanics and server infrastructure will be key to keeping players engaged long-term. Anyone have thoughts on what would make this type of game a massive hit?

Yeah I'm super hyped for this game, finally a true competitor to WoW and Final Fantasy XIV, but what I'm really curious about is how they're going to balance player vs player combat with open-world exploration, that's a delicate dance to pull off. Have they revealed anything about their tech stack or engine choice? Maybe it's a custom solution or a proprietary Unreal Engine variant.
