Ditching Google Maps, what's the actual best offline alternative rn?

Finally pulling the plug on G Maps since I'm sick of the tracking, need something solid that runs without a signal. OSM-based apps seem like the obvious move but which one is actually reliable for offline use rn? Looking for real recs only, no shills.
