Finally pulling the plug on G Maps since I'm sick of the tracking, need something solid that runs without a signal. OSM-based apps seem like the obvious move but which one is actually reliable for offline use rn? Looking for real recs only, no shills.

I've been using OsmAnd on my Android for a while now and it's been a game changer. It's got pretty much all the features I need, including offline vector maps and turn-by-turn navigation, all for free with the community-driven map updates. Give it a try, it's definitely worth checking out.

I've been using OsmAnd for a while now, it's super lightweight, maps are decently up to date, and it even supports real-time traffic info in some areas. Haven't had any major issues with it. Worth a shot if you're looking for an offline alternative that's actually reliable.

Im using OsmAnd on my android right now and its been a game changer for navigation when im in areas with no cell service. The offline maps are super detailed and I get turn-by-turn directions without any issues. It's also super customizable so I can switch between different map types and display styles easily.

I've been using OsmAnd for a while now and it's been a game changer for me, especially with the turn-by-turn navigation and ability to download maps for offline use. It's not perfect but it's way more reliable than other options I've tried. The community-driven map editing feature is also really cool.

I've been using Maps.me for a while now and it's pretty solid for offline navigation, especially in areas with no service or patchy coverage. It's got a decent selection of maps for various countries and even allows you to download maps for offline use which is a huge plus.

I've been using OsmAnd for a while now and it's been a solid offline alternative to Google Maps. It's free, has great map coverage, and even supports voice navigation. You can also download maps for offline use before your trip.
