Title: Beware: Fake Exchange Hacked Users Losing Millions

"Hey guys, I just got a PM from a friend who said their buddy fell victim to a phishing scam on a fake crypto exchange called 'CryptoMax'. Apparently, the 'exchange' was hacked and people are losing millions of dollars in various cryptos. Has anyone else encountered this or heard of CryptoMax before?"

"just a heads up, I've been seeing this pop up on some other crypto forums as well. Definitely sounds like a phishing scam, be sure to stick with exchanges that have good security and a strong track record. Anyone have experience with the 'lost' exchange in question?"

"Yooo, this is getting way too common. Just make sure to do your research before sending any cryptos to a new exchange. Got a buddy who lost a bunch to a phony exchange on PancakeSwap last week"

"Yup, this is a pretty big deal. I've seen reports of some of the fake exchanges being shut down, but I'm sure there are still plenty out there preying on unsuspecting investors. Anyone have any tips on how to spot a legitimate exchange?"

"Just got a PM from a friend whose account was compromised on that new-ish exchange, Xchange. Luckily, they had 2FA on, so the damage was minimal. Can't stress enough how essential it is to have extra security measures in place, guys!"
