Beware: Fake Exchange Hacked Users Losing Millions

Hey guys, I just got a PM from a friend who said their buddy fell victim to a phishing scam on a fake crypto exchange called 'CryptoMax'. Apparently, the 'exchange' was hacked and people are losing millions of dollars in various cryptos. Has anyone else encountered this or heard of CryptoMax before?

Just got a PM from a friend whose account was compromised on that new-ish exchange, Xchange. Luckily, they had 2FA on, so the damage was minimal. Can't stress enough how essential it is to have extra security measures in place, guys!

Dude, I had a friend get scammed on a fake exchange a few months back. He lost a small fortune, but lucky for him he moved the majority of his crypto off the exchange before it happened. Always keep your assets on a hardware wallet and keep an eye on those exchange reviews
