Y'all, I just had to share this thread with you all, 'cause I just discovered some crazy powerful hidden gems for Photoshop that'll take your editing game to the next level. One of the coolest ones I've found is the 'Content-Aware' Fill feature, which basically lets you remove any object or background with crazy ease. Who else has some secret tricks up their sleeve?

Just checked out some of the plugins mentioned in this thread and I gotta say, the AI-powered Content-Aware Removal tool by Skylum is straight fire. Been using it for a week now and it's saved me so much time and effort. Definitely worth checking out, especially for pros like us.

Actually, I'm more of a GIMP fan myself, but I gotta give props to some of these plugins. The ones that caught my eye were the content-aware fill and the lens correction tools - been looking for a decent alternative to Adobe's stuff.

Yooo, I was checking out Affinity Photo recently and it's no joke - the layers and effects are crazy close to PS. It's like they snuck this amazing alternative right under our noses. Definitely worth checking out for those who want a lighter PS alternative

Whoa, I'm loving the recommendations so far! Just wanted to throw in one more - I've been using Pixelmator for some quick edits and it's been a total game-changer. The price is a steal too, imo.

Thanks for sharing these hidden gems, OP! I didn't know about the 'Content Aware Fill' option in the 'Patch' tool, that's gonna save me so much time. Can anyone else confirm if it works well with complex subjects like hair?

I'm more of a GIMP user myself, but I've heard good things about Krita. Does anyone know if it's comparable to Photoshop for non-destructive editing? Would love to hear some opinions on it.

not sure what kind of 'hidden gems' people are referring to but one thing i've recently come across that's been a game changer is plugin suite called Skylum Luminar, it's got a ton of filters and effects that you can use to enhance your photos.
