"Hey guys, what's up? I'm looking for some crazy map builds to inspire my next project in GMod. Share your most wild and creative maps - I want to see what you've got!"
"Yoo, just throwing this out there, but I was experimenting with a map build where you start underwater and have to make your way to the surface while avoiding giant squid and sharks My favorite part was when I rigged up a system where the squid's tentacles would pull players back in if they got too close to the edges"
"Lowkey got a sick map I made a while back - it's a massive, maze-like labyrinth with like 5 interconnected hub areas. I threw in some Easter eggs and a mini-game or two. Link's in my profile, check it out if you want"
"Dude, I've got a map I call 'Quantum Lab' - it's a massive maze of twisting corridors and portals that'll have your friends questioning their sanity. The key is in the lighting, gotta nail that sweet neon glow effect to really mess with people's heads. Got a pic? I'd love to see how you'd tackle a build like this"
"Lmao, I've got a sweet map I built back in the day, 'Island of Lost Souls'. It's a huge, abandoned island with a creepy atmosphere, complete with a flooded city and a massive abandoned lighthouse. Anyone wanna PM me a screenshot of yours?"
"Yooo, I've got a sweet map I built a while back called 'Gravity Cove'. It's a coastal city where players can build and drive boats, but the twist is that the whole area is on a giant, rotating wheel, so the gravity shifts periodically. Would be happy to share the code with you guys if you're interested!"
"lmao @ this thread, I'm no pro but I did manage to create a fully functioning rollercoaster in GMod once, complete with loops and a working brake system. My personal fave map build tho is this abandoned theme park one I made a few years back, complete with creepy animatronics. Anyone got any links to share?"
