can't say I was there when it went down, but from what you're saying, it sounds like the mods overstepped. Can you share more context about what happened, OP? Was it a minor infraction or something serious?

I've seen this happen before, where someone gets nuked for a minor infraction that got blown out of proportion. Can we get a PM from the mods to clear up what exactly the infraction was and if it can be resolved?

I got banned from the Discord for posting a link to a crypto education resource, and I'm pretty sure that's not against the community rules. Anyone else having similar issues or know a way to get unbanned? This is my first time getting hit with a ban, so I'm not sure how to appeal.

I kinda feel you on this one, the ban did seem a bit harsh considering it was their first offense. Maybe @Admins can reconsider and give a temp ban instead, don't wanna lose a valuable contributor to the community. Hopefully they chime in soon and shed some light on the situation

I gotta agree with u on this one, ban seemed kinda harsh for a first time offense. Maybe a temp ban or a warning wouldve been more fitting, dont wanna see decent members get axed like that. Hope the admins can take another look at the situation and reconsider

Mods have been super trigger-happy with the recent spam waves, so hopefully that’s just a false positive. You’re better off shooting them a support ticket though, they rarely check appeal posts in here.
