Hey all, just wondering if anyone has tried using Yandex Pay for online transactions in Russia. I've seen some big players like Mir and Google Pay gaining traction, but Yandex seems to be lagging behind. Are they even planning to revamp their payment system?

Just got back from Moscow and I gotta say, Yandex Pay is gaining traction fast. People are using it to make purchases at cafes and shops, it's getting more widespread by the day. Still, I think Mir has a hold on loyalty, but Yandex Pay is definitely closing the gap.
Yandex Pay has been making strides lately, they've added more merchants and improved their mobile app, but Mir and Google Pay have a strong head start. I think Yandex Pay needs to focus on expanding their user base before it can catch up. Their user base and brand recognition will be a major factor in their growth.

Dude, I'm not sure if Yandex Pay can catch up to Mir and Google Pay, especially with the whole sanctions going on and their economy in shambles. But I think they're trying to stay relevant with new features and partnerships, we'll see how it plays out. Anyone heard anything about their plans for international adoption?

I'm not sure if Yandex Pay will be able to catch up to Mir and Google Pay in Russia, but their current offerings are pretty barebones. They need to add more features like interest-bearing accounts and a mobile wallet app to really compete with the big players. I think they're on the right track with their partnership with Sberbank though.

I think Yandex Pay has made some decent strides recently, but it's going to be an uphill battle to catch up to those giants like Mir and Google Pay in Russia. Mir, especially, seems to have such a strong grip on everyday transactions in Russia, it's hard to see Yandex Pay overtaking them anytime soon.
