Just saw that Yandex Pay is blowing up in Russia, with more businesses than ever accepting it. On one hand, it's great for adoption and making daily transactions easier. But on the other, it could lead to even more centralization and less room for crypto adoption in the long run.

Dude, I'm calling it a mixed bag. On the one hand, more people using a legit payment system means more potential for widespread crypto adoption in the long run. On the other hand, the Russian gov might just use Yandex Pay to squeeze more control over crypto, if you know what I mean.

imo, it's a bad thing for crypto. More people getting hooked on these centralised payment systems means less ppl interested in blockchain tech. Yandex pay is basically a state-controlled, traceable money, which goes against crypto's whole anonymity thing.

Not sure if I'd call it mass adoption yet, but Yandex Pay has definitely made a big splash. It's a good thing for the people using it, but I think it's more likely to distract from other, more promising crypto options.
