**Original Post:**

"Guys, I'm still fuming about this. I bought a cutting-edge GPU a year ago for my gaming PC, dropped $10k on it, and it's been nothing but problems and overheating issues. I'm talking constant throttling, power supply issues, and I've lost count of how many times it has overheated and shut down on me. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this specific GPU model?

Dude, I feel you. I lost a small fortune on a RX 480 thinking it was the best deal at the time, but it got obsolete way quicker than I expected. Did you at least get a decent refund or can you chalk it up to a hard-earned lesson?

Dude, that's harsh. I feel ya, though - I splurged on a 3080 and it dropped in value like a bad stock within months. Guess that's the gamble we take with cutting-edge tech, lol.

Yikes, that's gotta be a tough pill to swallow. I remember when 10k buys like 5-6 high-end GPUs now. Glad I dodged the hype train on those crypto mining GPUs

Dude, I feel you. I bought a high-end GPU last year that got discontinued just a month after, and I still can't sell it for what I paid. Guess that's just the life of a tech enthusiast - constant risk of getting burned.

Yeah, I feel your pain, had a similar experience with a overhyped mining GPU that turned out to be a dud, ended up selling it for like 20% of the original price and still lost a pretty penny. At least you learned a valuable lesson about doing thorough research before throwing down cash on a new GPU.
