"Been there, done that with the upgrade to 11. Honestly, it's not just the OS, my GPU drivers were also out of date, causing a performance hit. Try updating those and see if it makes a difference, might not fix all your lag issues but it's a good starting point"

"Dude, I'm experiencing the same lag on my gaming rig, and it's super frustrating. Tried disabling some unnecessary background apps and updating my drivers, but it's still sluggish. Hope MS rolls out that promised performance update soon, maybe it'll help."

I'm still rocking a gaming rig with a 6700K and 3080, and to be honest, I haven't noticed any major performance issues on Windows 11. Maybe it's just my hardware, but I'm running some pretty demanding programs and games with no noticeable lag. Has anyone else tried disabling Windows Smartscreen or the Windows Subsystem for Linux to see if it improves things?
