Will the next Bitcoin Core upgrade unlock the path to a $200k price target by 2025?

Everyone's hyping the next Core update, but do we actually think the tech upgrades alone are enough to spark a run to 200k? If the dev team finally delivers on those roadmap items, I could see institutions going full degen and pushing us there by 2025. Curious if you guys think this is the real catalyst or just hopium.

Honestly I think it's too early to predict price targets based on upcoming upgrades, but if Taproot does bring improved scalability and usability, we might see a nice bump in adoption and confidence in the network. Still, I'm not sold on the $200k mark by 2025, that seems a bit aggressive to me.

While I'm optimistic about Bitcoin's future potential, I think it's a bit too early to pinpoint a specific price target like $200k by 2025. We need to see the market's response to the upgrade and whether it addresses any of the current bottlenecks before making any concrete predictions. A more likely outcome is a gradual price increase over time as adoption and institutional investment continue to grow.

I'd say that's a bit of an ambitious target, but it's always good to dream big. A successful upgrade could definitely attract more investment and grow adoption, but we've gotta consider the bigger picture and what's already happening in the market. If institutional players start taking notice and we see real-world use cases, $200k by 2025 isn't entirely out of the question.

I'm not convinced that a Bitcoin Core upgrade will magically unlock its price potential, but it could certainly increase adoption and liquidity which might contribute to a price surge. The real game-changer will be when institutions start taking Bitcoin seriously and start using it as a mainstream store of value.

I think the next Core upgrade will definitely bring some much needed scalability and security improvements, but whether that directly translates to a 200k price tag by 2025 is a stretch. We've still got a lot of regulatory and adoption hurdles to clear before we can even think about reaching those heights. Either way, I'm hype to see what the devs have in store for us.

Idk about 200k by 2025 but the next core upgrade is definitely gonna bring some much needed scaling solutions, which could lead to more adoption and a higher price. Ive been reading about the proposed changes and its looking pretty promising, maybe we'll see a bull run soon. Either way, im just gonna hoddle and see what happens lol

I'd say we're getting ahead of ourselves here. While the next upgrade will definitely bring some improvements, it's still just one piece of the puzzle in determining Bitcoin's price trajectory. Let's not forget that there are a ton of external factors at play that could either hinder or help Bitcoin reach a $200k price target by 2025.
