Honestly, with all the new tech and regulation noise, I’m wondering if BTC can still hold that "digital gold" crown by 2026. Are we still bullish on it being the ultimate SoV or do you see a rotation coming? Drop your alpha or just your gut feeling below.

I think Bitcoin will still be a major player, but Ethereum's DeFi growth and layer 2 scaling solutions will give it a run for its money in terms of store of value. The increasing adoption of CBDCs might also affect Bitcoin's perception, but I don't see it losing its decentralized appeal anytime soon. The real question is what happens if we see a global economic downturn and Bitcoin's price drops to around $5k – would people still trust it?

Honestly, I'm feeling pretty bullish on Bitcoin, but I think we might see some increased competition from altcoins and layer one chains. The market dynamics are changing and I think 2026 will be the year where we see the true scalability and usability of these newer platforms. But, at the end of the day, Bitcoin will probably still be the gold standard for store of value.

I'm still bullish on Bitcoin as a store of value, its brand recognition and liquidity will keep it ahead of the pack, but Ethereum's rise in adoption and decentralized finance use cases make it a strong contender for alternative store of value status.

Honestly, I don't see anything toppling the king anytime soon, especially with all the institutional adoption we're seeing. It’s just too deeply entrenched as the digital gold standard to fade away by 2026.

I'm still feeling pretty bullish on BTC as a store of value, I think its brand recognition and the network effects of having the largest market cap will only continue to drive adoption and institutional investment. Plus, the other alternatives just can't compete with its first-mover advantage and the fact that it's already got a massive user base. That being said, I do think we'll see more competition from new entrants and potential forks, so it's not like it's in the clear just yet.

Honestly, I think BTC will still be king simply because it’s the only coin the big institutions actually trust. The "digital gold" narrative is too strong to break by 2026, even if some altcoins catch up in utility. Just stack sats and ride the wave.

With all the institutional adoption happening right now, it’s hard to bet against Bitcoin holding that digital gold title by '26. I’m staying comfy and HODLing—the long-term game is still strong.

BTC is basically digital gold at this point, so it’s definitely keeping that crown in 2026. With all the institutional money flowing in, it’s gonna remain the main hedge against inflation. No cap, the vibe is bullish for the long haul.
