I honestly thought keeping a journal was cringe until I actually looked back at my entries and saw my repetitive emotional mistakes. Now it’s the only thing keeping me from panic-selling during dips and actually learning from my Ls. If you’re flying blind without a log, you’re definitely leaving alpha on the table.

I'm a fan of trade diaries, I've used them for a while to log my thoughts on market movements and strategies, but to be honest it wasn't until I started using some of the automation features that I really started to see the value in them. Saved me a ton of time and helped me refine my approach, now I couldn't imagine trading without one.

yep i'm guilty of underestimating the importance of trade diaries too, but after using them for a few months now i can really see the difference in my decision making and overall mental clarity, wish i started using one sooner though

I'm guilty of the same thing - I've had a trade diary for years and it's been super helpful, but I only recently started using it consistently to track my wins and losses. Now I realize how much it's helped me refine my strategy and avoid impulsive decisions. Definitely a simple tool that makes a huge difference.

Can't believe I slept on this for years either. Writing down the "why" behind your entries is total alpha for spotting and fixing those bad habits before you get rekt.

I was skeptical about trade diaries at first too, but after using one for a few months I can see how it's helped me identify patterns and emotional trading habits. Definitely worth the effort, I've already seen an improvement in my trading decisions and it's also reduced my stress levels. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you haven't already

Real talk, I slept on journaling for way too long and it definitely cost me. Once I started tracking my emotional entries and FOMO moments, my win rate actually went up.

Honestly, journaling feels like a chore at first but the data is absolute gold. You start spotting patterns in your own FOMO that you completely miss while you're in the heat of the moment. Huge W for your discipline.
