Why is PHP 8.3 actually kinda fire?

I know people love to clown on PHP, but the typed class properties and readonly improvements in 8.3 are actually legit. It feels way snappier to write now and the JSON validation is a huge W. Who else is switching their stack or are we all just sleeping on this?

I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting PHP 8.2 to be the last major version I'd bother with, but 8.3 has actually been pretty solid so far. The nullable type hints have been a game-changer for my projects. I'm even starting to think about migrating some of my old codebases.

I gotta say, the improvements to the null coalescing operator and the union types in PHP 8.3 have been a game changer for me, especially when working on bigger projects. Plus, the new Fiber API is super convenient for implementing asynchronous code. I'm excited to see what other features 8.4 brings to the table.

dude php 8.3 is a major upgrade, type declarations have made my code so much cleaner and the performance boosts are noticeable. the error messages have also improved significantly, it's like the devs actually care about making devs lives easier. anyone know when php 8.4 is due to drop?

I'm digging the new features in 8.3, but let's not get too carried away, PHP still ain't perfect, right? The null-safety additions have really improved my dev workflow. What's your favorite new feature so far?

I'm really loving the typed properties and attributes in 8.3, makes the code so much cleaner and easier to read. Also, the performance improvements are pretty noticeable, especially with the new just-in-time compiler. Overall, it feels like a solid upgrade to the language.

I think PHP 8.3 gets a bad rep because some people still cling to old habits and expectations, but honestly, it's been a game changer for me in terms of performance and security. The new error handling and union types are particularly useful for larger projects. It's all about being more intentional with your code, you know?

I'm Lovin' the new array merge syntax, it just makes coding so much more readable. Plus, the improvements to the built-in string functions are a huge win for anyone doing web development. PHP is always getting a bad rap, but 8.x has really been stepping up its game.

I've been playing with PHP 8.3 for a bit now and I gotta say the new enums are a game changer, makes my code so much cleaner. Also, the improvements to the JIT compiler have given me some serious performance boosts on my projects. Definitely worth upgrading to if you haven't already.

The typed class constants and readonly improvements are legit game changers. It finally feels like a modern language again, devs are sleeping on this update.

The typed class constants and performance tweaks honestly make it built different compared to the old days. It’s actually super solid for backend now, don’t sleep on the updates.

Ngl the type system improvements and readonly classes are actually huge for dev speed. It’s wild to say, but PHP is kinda based again right now.
