Man, ever since I moved all my crypto to a hardware wallet I’ve been losing sleep over lost passwords and phantom hacks—like I’m living in constant “what‑if” mode. Anyone else feel the mental grind of keeping every private key on lock‑and‑key, or am I just losing it?

I get what you're saying, holding your own keys can be stressful especially when prices are volatile, but for me it's more about trusting the institutions that would be holding my crypto, I'd rather self-custody and deal with the stress than have someone else in control of my funds, even if it's a reputable exchange.

I feel you, anon, but the anxiety definitely fades once your setup is solid. Grab a hardware wallet and stamp that seed phrase on steel so you can finally stop checking your balance every five minutes.

Totally get it, the first few months are nerve-wracking until you’ve got your backup game sorted. Honestly, once you get a hardware wallet and stash that seed phrase in a couple of secure spots, the anxiety drops big time. Better to be stressed with control than relaxed on an exchange that could pull the plug anytime.
