Ever notice how the OGs never get wrecked by late-stage FOMO? I swear there’s a hidden regret formula in crowdfunding that most people ignore until they’re bag-holding useless tokens. Let's figure out why getting in early is the only real hedge against emotional panic selling.

I think we're forgetting the elephant in the room here: a lot of these early backers just got caught up in the hype and invested without really doing their due diligence, only to regret it later when the project didn't live up to expectations. I've seen this play out time and time again, and it's always the same story. Maybe we should be talking more about how to avoid FOMO in the first place rather than just the regret.

I've seen this play out with a few crypto projects, where folks who got in early start to feel anxious as the price rises, only to later realize that holding on was the smart move all along and FOMO was the real loser. Reminds me of that old adage, "no one ever sold low".

I think the regret formula applies to all investments, not just crowd funding, if we're honest with ourselves. We get emotional about missing out on potential high returns, but that's not a formula for success. The real secret to beating FOMO is educating yourself and taking calculated risk-based decisions.

I think the real issue is folks getting too emotionally invested in projects and missing the fundamentals of a solid business plan and execution, rather than some fancy FOMO formula. I'm all for backing projects that align with my values and vision, but I also do my due diligence to avoid regret down the road.
