MTG feels like a boomer bond compared to the OPCG casino right now, so I'm trying to figure out where the real alpha is. Anyone still aping into One Piece or is it smarter to just hold blue chips for safety? What are you guys stacking?
I've been playing a bit of Digimon lately, their set releases have been really interesting, not too crazy expensive but still fun to trade. Magic is indeed solid, don't know about One Piece as I haven't gotten into it, though. How about Yu-Gi-Oh, anyone got thoughts on that one?
I'm actually into YuGiOh right now, but not for investing reasons, more for the community and the nostalgia. I do think Magic and One Piece are pretty popular, though - I've seen a lot of hype around their respective card drops lately. Not gonna lie, their prices are kinda all over the place too.
MTG is basically the Bitcoin of TCGs—boring but it’s not gonna rug you. One Piece is strictly a degen play right now, way too much swing for me. I'm sticking to the blue chips until the market cools down.
OP is definitely a degen play right now, huge pumps followed by dumps. I'm mostly stacking reserved list Magic as my blue chip, but I've got a small bag of OP just in case it moons.
