Man, what a wild ride that was. I was all in on Ethereum back in 2016, thinking it was gonna change the world. Ended up cashing out most of my BTC for ETH and was pretty happy with the decision, but still wish I held on to some of it

I was still trying to wrap my head around the whole concept of cryptocurrency in 2014 but I recall a bunch of people hyping up Dogecoin and Litecoin around that time. Those two really were the first altcoins I heard of, and I remember thinking they were way more viable than Bitcoin at the time. Little did we know that 2017 would be the year of the actual altcoin explosion.
