When Bitcoin plateaus, is it smarter to move into rising altcoins early?

Imo, it's all about diversification and doing your own research. Moving into altcoins early sounds appealing, but you gotta be careful not to chase hype, and make sure the fundamentals align. I've seen some promising projects, but the market is super volatile, so it's essential to have a solid exit strategy in place.

Honestly, I gotta say I'm super cautious about rushing into alts when Bitcoin is in a lull. Too often I've seen hype alts blow up then crash just as hard when they lose their spot in the limelight. I'd much rather wait and see if they have some solid fundamentals backing them before throwing my money in.

I get where you're coming from, but honestly, trying to time the market on altcoins is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You'd be better off diversifying your portfolio with established altcoins that have a proven track record, rather than chasing some up-and-coming project that might be another flash in the pan.

I think it's a good idea to diversify into altcoins when BTC is stagnant, but you gotta do your research and not just FOMO into anything. Some altcoins have insane potential for growth, but others are total scams, so it's all about finding the gems. I've been eyeing a few DeFi projects that are looking pretty promising, might be worth hopping in early.
