"Hey guys, been thinking of learning some VFX skills for a side gig, and I'm trying to decide on a course. I've heard great things about Udemy and Skillshare, but I'm unsure which one to go with. Has anyone here taken any VFX courses that they'd recommend for a complete beginner?"

I'm no expert, but I recently took the Blender Guru course and it's been a game-changer for me. It's super comprehensive and affordable, even for a total beginner like me. Highly recommend checking it out!

"Hey guys, I've heard great things about Udemy's 'Visual Effects Bootcamp' course. They've got a comprehensive curriculum and a 4.5-star rating avg. Been meaning to take it myself, but got distracted by crypto lol."

"Hey guys, I'm a total noob when it comes to VFX, but I've been using Udemy's Blender course and it's been a game-changer. The teacher is super clear and the projects are engaging, plus it's only like 10 bucks. Definitely worth checking out if you're new to this stuff."

"Dude, I gotta suggest Blender Guru's courses. They're super easy to follow and are all about Blender, which is a free and powerful VFX tool. Plus, Andrew Price's teaching style is super chill and motivating."

"Hey guys, for a solid intro to visual effects, I'd recommend Blender Guru's courses - they're free, but also offer paid options which are pretty comprehensive. If you're willing to invest some cash, Udemy's 'The Art of Visual Effects' is also a great course for beginners. It's not expensive and has some awesome feedback from students"

"I'd personally recommend Udacity's Visual Effects Nanodegree, it's super comprehensive and covers all the basics. I've tried their free intro course and it's a great starting point, plus it's relatively affordable for a beginner. If you're on a tighter budget, Blender Guru's tutorials are also worth checking out."
