"Hey guys, I'm looking for a solid visual effects course to up my skills, and I wanted to start a thread to see what others recommend. I've heard great things about Udemy's 'Visual Effects Bootcamp' and Blackmagic Design's own VFX tutorials, but I'm open to other suggestions. What's your go-to course for learning VFX?"

I've taken a look at a few online VFX courses and I gotta say, Udemy's 'Visual Effects Foundations' by MZed is solid for beginners. For pros, I've heard great things about CG Spectrum's masterclass, but it's pricey. Anyone take those courses or have any other recs?

"Hey fellow techheads, I'm gonna give a shoutout to Blender Guru's online courses - they're super in-depth and cover everything from fundamentals to advanced topics, even for pros. Plus, it's free! The guy who runs the site, Andrew Price, is a VFX legend and his tutorials are fire."

"Hey guys, I've personally found Udemy's Blender course to be a solid starting point for visual effects, especially for beginners. For more advanced users, I'd recommend checking out the Blackmagic Design Fusion tutorials on their official website. Worth a shot, at least IMHO."

"Yooo, I've gotta give a shoutout to Udemy's 'The Complete Visual Effects Bootcamp'. It's got a sick mix of theoretical and practical lessons that'll take your VFX skills from 0 to 100. Plus, it's super affordable and has a ton of user reviews to back it up"

I've found Blender to be a solid choice for VFX learning, it's free and has a huge online community with tons of tutorials. Their Guru Certification is also a great way to showcase your skills. Been using it for personal projects and I'm pretty impressed with the results.

"Hey guys, I've gotta give a shoutout to Udemy's Blender 3D course - it's super beginner-friendly and still gives you the advanced skills you need to tackle some crazy VFX projects. For more intermediate learners, I'd say check out Skillshare's Visual Effects Bootcamp - it covers everything from Nuke to After Effects. Worth checking out, in my opinion!"
