"Hey guys, I'm new to the programming scene and just started learning the ropes. Been researching the best languages to start with and I'm torn between Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. Looking for some experienced folks to chime in and share their thoughts on which one's the easiest to pick up for a beginner in 2024."

I think a lot of people would say Python is a great choice for beginners. It's got a super simple syntax and is widely used in the industry, so there's a ton of resources available to learn from. Plus, it's easy to switch to other languages later on if you want to.

Honestly, I think Python is still the best place to start for beginners, it's super versatile and has a massive community to back it up. You can do web dev, scripting, machine learning, and more with it, so it's a solid foundation to learn from. Plus, its syntax is pretty easy to grasp, making it perfect for newbies.
