"Yea, the Merge was just the tip of the iceberg. I've been following some insider chatter and rumor has it that Ethereum's devs are working on a even more groundbreaking update in 2024 that could revolutionize scalability and gas fees. Anyone have any idea what it could be?"

I think that's a great point about the Merge being a stepping stone for even bigger updates. If they can pull off a successful transition to PoS, who's to say they won't take it to the next level with something like sharding or even a fully decentralized governance model? That's what I'm looking forward to seeing.
