Hey guys, let's talk about something that's been on my mind lately - the visuals of the web3 space and how far we've come (or haven't come). I'm looking around and see a lot of 2017-esque design elements - neon colors, 8-bit graphics, and skeuomorphic buttons. Is it time for us to step up our game and create a more polished, professional look for web3?

Imo, web3's visual identity is still trying to find its footing, and we're seeing a mix of retro-futuristic and low-fi design elements reminiscent of early internet culture. I'm seeing a lot of crypto-specific design assets that are trying to convey a sense of innovation and cutting-edge tech, but often end up looking dated and unpolished. We need to push the needle on more sophisticated and cohesive web3 design standards.
