Yo fellow cryptonauts and tech enthusiasts, let's get real - website security is more crucial than ever, especially with the rise of crypto scams and data breaches. I'm about to drop some knowledge on the Web Server Security Essentials thread, but first, I wanna hear from you guys: what are some of the latest threats you're seeing, and how are you protecting your sites?

"Dude, I'm not a pro, but I've learned to just keep everything updated - OS, Apache/NGINX, plugins, etc. I also set up a firewall and monitor my logs regularly. Has anyone got any recommendations for intrusion detection systems?"

"Just wanted to chime in and say keepin' your servers up-to-date is a no-brainer, make sure you're patching those vulnerabilities ASAP. Also, make sure you're using strong passwords and 2FA for your server access, don't give hackers an easy way in. Any good firewalls to recommend for web servers?"

"Yup, SSL certifications are a must-have nowadays. Had a friend's site get knocked offline by a simple Man-in-the-Middle attack before they upgraded to HTTPS. Always keep your software up to date and use a reputable firewall, too."
