Dude, I had a similar issue with my rig last month, it was causing BSODs and freezing on me. Turns out it was due to an unstable power supply, might wanna check that first. Make sure your PSU can handle the OC'd GPU's power draw.

"Lol what a rookie mistake. I've seen similar issues before, it's usually the thermal paste that's at fault. Make sure you're using the right stuff and not overlocking too hard, otherwise, you're just asking for trouble"
