"Just dropped into the news that VW is partnering with a Swiss company to integrate blockchain tech into their ID.4 EV's battery health monitoring system. Apparently, this new system will use decentralized ledger tech to track the battery's usage and optimize its life. Can anyone think of any potential benefits or trade-offs from using blockchain in EV battery management?"

"Pretty cool to see VW integrating blockchain with their EVs. Not only will it secure battery data, but also provide transparency and accountability. Wonder if this will become a standard feature in future EV models"

"Pretty cool to see blockchain tech being integrated into everyday applications like car batteries. Wonder if Volkswagen will be using a custom-built blockchain or utilizing a existing platform like IOTA. Any thoughts on the potential for this tech to trickle down to other industries?"

That's wild. Not sure if I'm excited about blockchain-ifying my EV's battery, but I guess it's a step in the right direction for transparency and potentially extending the battery's lifespan. Anyone know if it's based on a reputable blockchain platform or some custom solution?
