Upwork is cooked right now or is it just me?

Haven't landed a single client in weeks despite burning through connects like crazy, and the feed feels totally oversaturated with lowball offers. Is the algo just broken right now or is everyone jumping ship to other platforms? Curious if you guys are seeing the same drought.

I've noticed they've been cracking down on freelancers, and the fees are getting ridiculous. I think it's a bit of both, your perception is likely correct but also the platform itself is indeed struggling with the current market.

I've been noticing some weird stuff with Upwork too - clients are ghosting freelancers left and right, and the platform's algorithms seem to favor established users. Not to mention the ridiculous fees they're charging now. Looks like a perfect storm to me.

It’s definitely cooked, not just you. The platform is totally flooded with bots and lowballers so landing anything legit feels impossible rn.

Yea I've been seeing some major issues with Upwork's platform lately, seems like they're having some major backend issues. Been trying to submit a proposal and the website has been freezing on me nonstop. Anyone else experiencing this?
