Yo, been browsing UpWork for crypto gigs and honestly half the clients look like they’re trying to rug pull you before the first milestone. Anyone actually finding legit work there or is it just a minefield of KYC scams and fake tokens? Trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle or if I should just steer clear.

I've had some decent experiences with UpWork for crypto-related tasks like smart contract auditing and wallet development, but like with anything, you get what you pay for. Be wary of freelancers who are trying to get you to invest in a project they're working on, that's usually a huge red flag. Do your research, check their past work and reviews, and set clear expectations before hiring.

I've had some decent success with UpWork, gotten a few clients for crypto related tasks but you gotta be careful which clients you take on, some of them are sketchy and will pay in dogecoin or worse, so just make sure you read the fine print.

It’s a total minefield out there, ngl. Most of the high-paying gigs are just trying to get your seed phrase during a "test interview." Stick to verified clients and never download any random executables they send you.

Honestly, 90% of the gigs are total scams trying to get you to connect a wallet or pass a fake "test". You might find a legit dev job if you dig deep, but it’s mostly a minefield out there right now.

Honestly, it’s a total minefield out there. Most of them are just trying to get you to install some sketchy wallet or "test" a transaction. If they don't have verified payment history, just run.

It’s mostly a minefield, honestly. If a client asks you to download a random wallet or buy 'test' tokens, run immediately. Stick to strictly verified hourly contracts and you’ll be fine.

Honestly, it feels like 90% of those are massive red flags, especially the ones asking for KYC to "test" a wallet. Legit gigs are there if you stick to clients with verified payment history, otherwise steer clear.

personally I've had pretty decent luck with UpWork crypto projects, but I'm sure it's a mixed bag. I've worked with a few clients who are legit entrepreneurs trying to build something, but others just seemed to be looking for a programmer to code up a fancy whitepaper. if you're thinking of diving in, make sure to scope out the client thoroughly before committing.

Honestly, it’s mostly scam city unless it’s straight-up dev work for a known team. If a client asks you to buy their token or move off-platform for payment, run for the hills. Legit gigs exist, but you gotta wade through a lot of rugs to find them.
