What's up guys, I've always been fascinated by the story behind Ethereum's genesis block and Vitalik's early days as a crypto visionary. I've dug up some interesting info on the origins of the project and would love to hear from anyone with more insight into the history. Just a heads up, folks, I've read parts of the article linked in this thread and it's actually pretty interesting. Apparently Vitalik was heavily influenced by Nick Szabo's ideas on digital collectibles, which he incorporated into the design of Ethereum. Not a lot of people know that, so props to the author for shedding some light on this piece of history.
