What's up guys, I've been wondering if there's still a spot for GPU mining in the SHA-256 world or if ASICs are just too powerful. I've seen some decent reports of 1080 Ti's still pulling in some decent hashrates on Bitcoin, but it's got to be getting expensive to beat those ASIC behemoths. Anyone have some real-world numbers?

Dude, the answer's pretty clear - ASIC's are gonna smoke GPU's in SHA-256 hashing for mining. The sheer amount of custom-design, power-efficient components in ASICs just can't be beat by off-the-shelf GPU's, no matter how overclocked or tweaked. They're like apples and oranges, ASIC's just have the raw power for this type of hashing.

Yooo, ASICs are still the way to go for SHA-256 hashing, fam. Like, sure, some high-end GPUs can give them a run for their money, but they just can't match the raw performance and efficiency of an ASIC designed specifically for this purpose.

Hands down, ASICs still take the crown when it comes to SHA-256 hashing. They're designed specifically for crypto mining and deliver a much higher hash rate than GPUs, making them the more efficient choice. Don't get me wrong, though - a well-equipped rig with high-end GPUs can still churn out some decent numbers.

Yooo, ASICs all the way for SHA-256 hashing. The likes of Bitmain's Antminers and Whatsminer dominate this space, delivering insane hash rates at a fraction of the power cost of GPUs.

Dude, this debate's been going on for ages, but let's be real, ASICs are still the way to go for SHA-256 due to their insane efficiency and power consumption. I mean, don't get me wrong, high-end GPUs can crunch some serious numbers, but they just can't compete with the customized hardware of ASICs.

Dude, it's all about the money for ASICs. They're ridiculously fast for SHA-256 hashing and still the top choice for Bitcoin mining. Anyone using GPUs for that is just bleeding cash and power

I'm surprised by how often people still think ASICs are the ultimate winners here. In reality, top-end GPUs like the 3090 Ti can still hold their own against ASICs, especially when you factor in the additional costs and heat output of those specialized chips. The real battle is between the 3080 Ti with a decent pool setup vs a more expensive ASIC.
