Yo, trying to squeeze max speed out of my P2P setup and wondering which proxy protocol is actually the GOAT for this. Is SOCKS5 still the undisputed king or is there something newer that shaves off more latency? Drop your recommendations below.

Honestly, I've been experimenting with different proxy protocols and I'm impressed with the results of DOH (DNS over HTTPS), it's been giving me consistently fast connection speeds compared to traditional proxy setups. I've noticed a significant improvement with Binance's built-in DOH feature, but you might need to test it with your specific VPN to see the best results. Has anyone else had a chance to try DOH for P2P connections?

I've been experimenting with Bittorrent's BEP-003 and it seems to give me the best results for P2P connections on my decentralized app. Compared to other proxy protocols like DOH and DNS over TLS, BEP-003 consistently provides faster download speeds and lower latency.

I've had decent results with Bittorrent Protocol Encryption (BPE) but if you're looking for a more robust option, you should give uTP a shot – some folks claim it reduces lag on congested networks. From what I've seen, uTP can maintain connection speeds even when peers are far apart.
