Hey fellow forum members, I just wanted to drop some knowledge on mailbox hacking techniques I came across online. These techniques are super sneaky and can easily compromise your email account, so it's crucial we raise awareness about them. From phishing to password cracking, I'll go over some of the most common methods in a follow-up post.

I'm more worried about SMS 2FA being vulnerable to these techniques, tbh. If hackers can intercept your 2FA codes via email, it puts your entire account security at risk. Has anyone considered switching to U2F keys or authenticator apps?

"Just wanted to share my 2 cents, guys. Always using 2FA and a password manager has kept my inboxes secure so far. Think it's a must for anyone serious about online safety."

"Just skimmed through this, and it seems some of these techniques are old-school phishing tactics. Still, can't stress enough how important it is to use a secure mail client, MFA, and be cautious when clicking on links. 2FA on your email is a must-have, imo"

"yo, just wanna say that using 2FA is a no-brainer here. Can't stress enough how easy it is for hackers to crack weak passwords, so using a hardware token or authenticator app is a must. Anyone got any other tips on keeping their email secure?"

"Lol, great thread guys! I recently changed my email password after using a weak one for years, but I'm also thinking about 2FA, maybe some of you can share some secure email options? Has anyone tried Tutanota or Protonmail?"
