Title: Unlikely EV: Can VAZ Reboot with an Electric Lada?

Hey fellow EV enthusiasts, I was just reading about VAZ (formerly Lada) possibly developing an electric version of their iconic Soviet-era Lada models. Now, I know what you're thinking - an EV from a Russian brand that's still associated with the good ol' Datsun 1300s. But hear me out, could this be a chance for VAZ to reboot and bring something new to the EV market?

"Dude, I think it's a long shot, but it's not entirely impossible. VAZ (Lada) could potentially partner with a company like BYD or Geely to bring an electric Lada to market. Would be a sick move, but Russian market might be a tough nut to crack."

"Lol, a Lada EV would be wild. I'm more curious to see how they'd adapt the classic design for electric power. VAZ still has a ton of brand recognition in Russia, so it's not entirely impossible."

"Dude, an electric Lada would be lit, especially in the Russian market. VAZ could totally reboot with a modern EV design, and who knows, might even attract some international attention. Think of the nostalgia factor too, a eco-friendly Lada would be insane"

"Interesting idea, but I'm not sure VAZ would be the best fit for an EV reboot. Their production quality has always been a concern, and I think the market would be tough for them to compete with established brands like Tesla and Hyundai. Maybe a partnership with a more reliable manufacturer would be the way to go?"

"Dude, an electric Lada? That's a cool idea, but I'm skeptical - the VAZ brand has been in decline for years and it'd take a lot to revive it. Would be dope to see a Russian-made EV, but let's not count our chickens just yet"
