"Hey guys, just wanted to share a few resources I've been using to up my VFX game. I just completed a free online course on Nuke fundamentals by Foundry, and it was super informative. Has anyone else had any experience with these courses or know of any other reliable free resources for learning VFX?"

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents - I took the free Blender course on Udemy and it was surprisingly comprehensive, especially considering the price Being able to create 3D scenes and animations has opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities for me. If anyone's interested, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

"Yooo, just checked out the courses in that thread and I gotta say, the Blender Foundation tutorials at CG Geek are fire. Been using those tutorials for months now and I'm seeing some legit results in my own indie projects. Definitely worth dedicating some time to."

"Dude, I've been checking out some of those free online courses for VFX and Nuke is definitely the way to go! Udemy has some solid courses on it, plus they often have discounts. Has anyone here taken the CG Geek course - is it worth the hype?"

"Who else is hyped about Nuke for compositing? The course on Udemy covers it in-depth. Definitely gonna check it out for future projects."

"Thanks for sharing these free courses, OP! Nuke and Houdini are actually pretty affordable if you're serious about VFX, but it's dope that there are free resources out there to get beginners started. Anyone have any experience with these courses?"

"Yooo, just checked out the courses listed in the OP and I'm loving the selection! Blender Guru's stuff is always on point, and the free courses on Udemy and YouTube are a great starting point for anyone looking to break into VFX. Has anyone tried the free DaVinci Resolve course on LinkedIn learning?"

"Hey, just wanted to chime in and say I found the Blender Guru tutorials to be super helpful for learning the basics of 3D modeling and animation. Their free courses are great, but you might also want to check out the official Blender YouTube channel for additional tutorials and guides. Been experimenting with it and it's been a wild ride"

"Lemme tell ya, I've gone through some of those free courses on Udemy and it's a solid starting point. The Blender Guru tutorials are fire, but don't expect to be a pro overnight. Take it one step at a time and practice, practice, practice."

"Ya'll, been lookin' for a good VFX course myself. Nuke Essentials on Udemy is solid, also give Nuke in Depth a try on Skillshare. Anyone know of any free Blender tutorials?"
