Stop sleeping on public data if you want real alpha. Here are the top 5 free datasets I use for on-chain analysis and building my own indicators without paying a dime.
I've found the Kaggle datasets to be super useful for analyzing crypto trends, especially when it comes to historical price data. Another great resource is the CoinGecko API, which offers real-time data on cryptocurrency market caps, prices, etc. Has anyone else used the Quandl API for crypto data analysis?
I've been playing around with Kaggle's crypto related datasets and they're super useful, especially the ones on price correlations and market trends. Also, don't forget to check out Quandl for some of the most comprehensive financial data out there, including crypto exchanges. Been getting some great insights from those resources.
I've been playing around with Kaggle datasets lately and found them super useful for crypto research, especially the ones from CoinGecko and CryptoCompare. Has anyone tried using Historical Price Data from Quandl? I'd love to hear about your experiences with these resources.
Just wanted to add that Kaggle's datasets are a goldmine for crypto research, especially their financial and market data collections. I've also found some great resources on the World Bank and Quandl websites, both of which are super user-friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking to level up your analysis skills.
Solid list, OP! I didn't realize that second one had historical data going back that far—def gonna plug it into my current project. Anyone know which of these has the cleanest API for Python scripts?
Solid list! Dune Analytics is a personal favorite for digging into on-chain metrics without dropping cash. Definitely bookmarking this for the next alpha hunt.
Solid list, OP. I’ve been sleeping on some of these resources, so this is actually helpful. Gonna mess around with that on-chain data this weekend and see if I can find any alpha.
Just checked out the list and I'm loving the Kaggle datasets, been playing around with them for a crypto trading bot I'm building. Definitely gonna dive deeper into the Quandl ones too, seems like a goldmine for historical price data. Anyone else using these resources for machine learning models?
Just wanted to chime in on this - I've found Kaggle to be an incredible resource for crypto-related datasets as well, they've got some awesome competitions and tutorials too. Definitely worth checking out next to the ones mentioned in the OP. Been using some of the datasets from UCI Machine Learning Repository for some side projects.
