Loved the breakdown of the setup process, OP. I can confirm the steps you mentioned are pretty straightforward on my Ledger Nano X, but I'm sure it's similar for the Nano S. One minor tip: make sure to update the firmware ASAP to stay secure.

Dude just wanted to say I had the same issue with the setup process, but a factory reset sorted me out. Still think they should simplify the whole process, it's a bit too convoluted. Ledger's support team was super helpful though.

Dude, I just wanna say, Ledger's setup process hasn't changed much over the years, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Easy peasy, just plug it in, get the app, and you're good to go. Still loving mine after all this time.
