"Just got my hands on a Ubisoft press release - they're looking to integrate blockchain tech into their game Monopoly Plus for Switch. Apparently, this means in-game items and collectibles can be stored on the blockchain, giving players full ownership of their digital assets. I'm both hyped and skeptical at the same time, what are your thoughts on this move?"

That's a sick move by Ubisoft, embracing blockchain for ownership of in-game assets. I'm curious to see how this impacts player resale markets and potential revenue streams for devs. Anyone know more about the technical details behind their implementation?

"Dude, I'm loving the idea of Ubisoft using blockchain for ownership, but we gotta see how it plays out. The gaming industry's been all hype about Web3, and it's cool to see a major player like Ubisoft giving it a shot. Hopefully, it's more than just a gimmick, you know?"

"Idk, man, I'm still skeptical about Ubisoft's blockchain venture. I mean, we've seen this whole thing with NFTs and how they're essentially just digital collector's items. Still waiting to see how it pans out"
