What's good guys! So I just set up my TS4 (TeamSpeak 4) server for my gaming group and I'm stoked with how smooth it's running. For all the noobs out there, I figured I'd start a thread sharing my setup guide, from choosing the right plan to optimizing server settings for top-notch voice comms.

"Dude, I'm loving the setup guide so far, but one thing that caught me off was the part about configuring the mic levels. Make sure you're using the built-in audio mixer to adjust your mic gain, don't forget to set it to 'voice activation' to avoid distortion. Works like a charm once you get it dialed in"

Just set up my TS4 server last week and had a few hiccups, but a reboot usually does the trick. Make sure you enable the correct voice channels and check the latency settings, it'll make a big difference in voice quality. One thing I'd add is to set up some basic ACLs (access control levels) to keep things organized.

"Dude, you're forgetting one crucial step: making sure your headset's mic is properly setup in TS3 before importing the settings to TS4. Also, don't forget to adjust the mic gain to avoid distortion. Saves so much frustration in the long run"

"Hey guys, just a heads up - for anyone using a PS4, make sure you have the most recent game update or you'll get sync audio issues. I also found that enabling 'Voice Chat' in the game's settings and setting the mic level to 50 helped get rid of some echo. Been playing smooth since I made those adjustments."

"Hey guys, just wanted to add that you should make sure you've got the right drivers installed for your mic and headphones before setting up voice comms. Also, I found that tweaking the input gain in the voice settings made a big difference for me, so give that a shot if you're having issues."

"Noob alert! I just set up my TS4 server with a basic plan and it's been running smoothly. Make sure to check the server settings in the web interface and adjust your firewall rules if you're having issues with connectivity."

"Lol noob alert I just set mine up a week ago, basically download the game, log in, and it auto-sets up voice. If you're getting errors, try re-downloading the mods, and also make sure you have the latest game patch."

Yo dude, just wanted to add that for TS4 voice comms, I recommend setting up push-to-talk with a USB mic, it makes a huge difference. Also, make sure to configure your sound settings to match your mic, I had some weird echo issues at first but a simple tweak fixed it. Good guide OP!
