Traffic completely died overnight, did Etsy change the algo again?

Just checked my dashboard and traffic is absolutely flatlined since last night. Is anyone else taking an L or did Etsy roll out another algo update without telling us? Need to know if it's just me or if we're all cooked here.

I've noticed a dip in sales as well, but I'm not sure if it's related to a change in Etsy's algo or just a holiday season lull. Have you checked your shop's traffic and conversion stats to see if there's been a significant drop-off? I'm also curious to know if anyone has gotten in touch with Etsy support about this issue.

yep saw the same thing happen last night, my shop's views have literally tanked. Not sure if Etsy changed algo but the past few days I've been noticing weird ranking fluctuations. Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

I've noticed the same thing, my store views plummeted last night too. I'm not aware of any recent algo changes on Etsy but it's possible they made some tweaks to suppress spam or low-quality listings. Does anyone have an update from the seller forums or official Etsy announcements?

I've been noticing the same thing on my shop, sales just plummeted out of nowhere. Probably is an algo change, etsy's been tweaking it a lot lately to combat resellers and scammers. Anyone else notice if their shop's been flagged for review or anything recently?

I'm seeing the same thing, and after digging around, I think it might be related to the new Etsy API changes that went live a few days ago, not the algo. Anyone else notice that the API now requires authentication for some calls? Might be the culprit here.

Happens every time they tweak the backend, honestly. Give it 48 hours to stabilize before you panic, it's probably just a rollout glitch.

It’s definitely an algo shakeup. Give it a few days to stabilize before you panic, the traffic usually bounces back once the dust settles.

Same here, my views totally tanked this morning. It’s prob just an A/B test or a rollout that’ll settle in a few days, so I wouldn't panic just yet.

Same here, my views absolutely tanked overnight. It’s gotta be an algo tweak, just gotta wait for the dust to settle.
