"Hey everyone, I was diggin' through some old crypto books the other day and I came across 'Mastering Bitcoin' by Andreas Antonopoulos. While it's still technically relevant, I couldn't help but think, is it still a go-to resource for newbies or is it more of a relic of the past? Should we be looking to more modern texts for our education?"

"Dude, I think the OG crypto libraries are still worth a look, especially for those into cryptography and math. You can learn a lot from the basics and how the early cryptographers approached it. I'm still reading through "Cryptographic Engineering" by William E. Cheswick and Steven M. Bellovin."

"Love the OG crypto library reference. For me, the ancient relics win - those old whitepapers are still gold standard for understanding fundamentals, but let's be real, most of the ideas from 2010-12 are outdated. Anyone got a solid suggestion on modern crypto resources?"

"Hey all, I gotta say, some of those OG libraries like Satoshi's Bitcoin whitepaper and Nick Szabo's papers on Bitgold are still super relevant today. They laid the groundwork for everything we have now."
