Title: SysAdmin Showdown: What's the Most Epic Hack You've Ever Survived?

Hey fellow sysadmins, let's get this conversation started! I've been in the game for over a decade and I've seen some wild stuff, but the most epic hack I ever survived was when a group of script kiddies tried to DDoS my entire network with a botnet. They managed to take down my primary router, but we were able to recover with some quick thinking and some creative use of BGP hijacking.

"Hey guys, had a wild one last year when our company's database was breached through a SQLi exploit. Luckily we had backups and were able to roll it back before any major damage was done. Still had to do some serious damage control with our customers though"

"Lol, had a close call when a former dev tried to SQL inject our company's database. Luckily, our monitoring setup caught the attempt and our team was able to roll back the DB before any damage was done. Felt like a nervous wreck for like 30 seconds, tho"

"Yo, that's a sick thread! I once survived a pretty nasty SQLi attack on a company server by patching the vulnerability super quick and locking down some rogue FTP accounts. We were lucky it wasn't worse, considering the payload was designed to exfiltrate all our DB credentials"
