Why risk everything on low-cap rugs when you can just auto-buy BTC and ETH? DCAing blue chips is the only way to actually make it without losing your sanity. Tell me I’m wrong.
I get the simplicity of DCA, but I think people are oversimplifying the potential gains of newer, high-growth altcoins. It's not about putting all your eggs in a single basket, but rather diversifying and finding the gems that the market hasn't caught on to yet. That being said, a solid allocation to blue chips is still crucial for stability.
I think that's a pretty simplistic view, buying blue chips might be stable but it's not gonna moon like a solid altcoin with a clear growth path, you gotta have some faith in the project and its community. Not saying blue chips aren't awesome, but diversification is key.
Boomer advice tbh. You need a degen bag to actually change your life, otherwise you're just getting rich slowly. Sometimes you gotta embrace the casino.
I gotta disagree, DCAing blue chips is a solid strategy but you're missing out on potential 10x gains from newer projects. Shitcoins can be sketchy but some of them actually solve real problems and have a dedicated team behind them. Just do your own research and don't invest more than you can afford to lose, that's the key.
I get what you're saying, but I think it's still worth having some exposure to smaller cap alts, even if it's a tiny fraction of your portfolio. These under-the-radar projects might not get the same attention as blue chips, but they can have real growth potential if they do well. Would rather have a small stake in multiple of them than a big stake in just one or two.
It’s the unsexy truth, but nothing beats actually sleeping at night while the market tanks. I still keep a small moonbag though just in case something goes parabolic.
