Just cross-stitched my seed phrase into a throw blanket thinking it’s the ultimate low-key cold storage, but now I’m paranoid about guests reading it while crashing on my couch. Is this a genius stealth move or am I literally begging to get rekt? Trying to decide if I should keep it or scrap the project before I lose my stack.

I have to say, I love the creativity behind this idea, but I think I'd rather have my recovery phrase tattooed on a secure server rather than a fuzzy blanket. I mean, what happens if the blanket gets lost or burnt? Can anyone else see the security benefits here?

I love the creativity behind this, but I gotta ask, are you prepared for potential security risks if you ever need to recover your BTC and the blanket gets lost or damaged? I've seen some people use similar methods but I think it's generally more secure to keep your seed phrase written down in a fireproof safe or a secure storage service.

I gotta say, while the idea of a DIY security-themed blanket is cool, I'm not sure I'd want to risk sewing my recovery phrase into something that might get lost, damaged, or fall apart over time - a hardware wallet or paper storage still sounds like a safer bet to me. But hey, if you're really committed to this idea, just make sure you can create a way to access the phrase even if the blanket itself gets compromised.
