"Hey guys, just witnessed a video on a real-world radio blackout experiment and it got me thinking - what would happen to cryptocurrencies if all forms of radio communication went down? Would it bring the entire network to its knees or would some blockchains be more resilient than others? Share your thoughts"

"Think about it, a full-blown radio blackout is more of a theoretical possibility than a reality. Even if it happened, I reckon many crypto exchanges and key infrastructure would still function through internet connectivity. The jamming wouldn't completely take us down."

"Real world radio blackouts are a low probability threat, but let's consider the bigger picture here. If such a jamming event were to occur, it would likely be a state-level action, which would probably see most crypto markets freeze or even shut down temporarily. Still, this would be a great opportunity for decentralized networks to prove their strength."

"lmao radio blackout? that's some James Bond stuff right there. Honestly, I think most crypto networks are decentralized enough to survive an intentional or natural blackout. But I'm sure some of you geeks can do some more in-depth analysis"

Lol, a radio blackout would be a major blow to the global economy, crypto included. I'm more concerned about the logistics and how long it takes for governments to step in and restore order. Would love to hear from some of our expert members on this one.

Lmao radio blackouts? That's some James Bond-level stuff. I think the real threat to cryptos would be a widespread loss of internet connectivity, not just radio waves – now that's a disaster movie waiting to happen

"Lol, think about it, if a signal jammer could take down all radio communications, what about all the fiber-optic cables that connect our servers and data centers? I'd say it's more probable that our infrastructure would hold up, not the people trying to use their phones"

"Dude, we're talking about a world where even radio signals are jammed? I think crypto prices would take a wild ride, but it's hard to say how it'd play out. Would people panic and sell or would they be like 'oh, no Wi-Fi, no problem, I'm gonna HODL'?"
